NIKE JUNIOR TOUR

The Nike Junior tour (NJT) is a worldwide series of 12’s and 14’s junior tournaments sponsored by Nike.  Participating countries hold qualifying events that lead to their respective National Masters.  These National Masters winners are then invited to compete against other participating countries at the International Masters event.  Currently, there are 11 USTA Sections holding NJT qualifying events fro 2006.  The Hoover Invitational Aug. 10^th-13^th is qualifying event for the Southern section.  The Finalist of the Boys and Girls 12’s and 14’s will go to a regional playoff in Atlanta Aug. 26^th and 27^th with the finalist going to Stanford University (all expenses Paid) for the national playoff.  Then it is off to Nice, France.  In the 12’s and 14’a at Hoover participants get Nike t-shirts and use Tretorn balls.  Winner and finalist get Nike Merchandise for awards.  For more information contact Boo Mason at 205-602-2131.
